Imperial Trading Company was established in 1916 as a wholesale grocer for independent retail grocers in New Orleans. With pioneering insight, strategic acquisitions and a controlled growth, Imperial Trading focused on the new convenience store (C-Store) segment of distribution, and grew its market to become a super-regional wholesale distributor with more than 5,000 retailers. Currently ranked nationally as a Top 10 convenience store distributor by Convenience Store News, we carry over 10,000 items including candy, full-line groceries, deli, frozen foods, HBC and beverages. Our services include computerized space management for custom plan-o-grams, customized analysis reports and shelf labels. Today, Imperial Trading is a mega distribution company with multiple distribution centers throughout the Southeastern United States which include Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. Also included under the Imperial Trading umbrella are a wholesale club in Baton Rouge, office coffee services and beverage systems. Imperial grosses over $1 billion in annual sales.
