News media executives from across North America gathered at The New Orleans Advocate on St. Charles Avenue Sunday night for the opening reception of mediaXchange, the annual gathering of the News Media Alliance. The conference, which meets in New Orleans until Wednesday, offers programming, networking and information on the rapidly evolving news industry.
